KSKJ Life members join forces to clean up the community.
On Saturday, May 7, KSKJ Life members from Duluth, MN, joined together with the Gary-New Duluth Community Club to clean up around town. This project brought together helping hands from both groups to beautify the area after another long, Midwest winter. Thank you to all the members that helped pick up the area and get it spring and summer ready! Looking good crew!
SLOVENIA'S NATIONAL DAY - JUNE 25th
Also known as Statehood Day or Dan državnosti, Slovenia’s National Day is celebrated every June 25th. It commemorates Slovenia’s independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. It’s a time to celebrate the culture and history of Slovenia! All Slovenians enjoy a day off for this holiday including schools and businesses. The Slovenian capital of Ljubljana hosts the main celebrations at Republic Square. If you’ve planned a trip to Slovenia at the end of June, you’re in luck!
