KSKJ Days 2026 Is Here. Double Your Impact
KSKJ Days 2026 is underway, running through May 31, and this year brings an exciting opportunity to make an even greater difference.
The KSKJ Life Foundation will match donations, doubling the impact of every dollar given. That means your support goes twice as far in helping the charitable causes that strengthen our communities and reflect the heart of our mission.
Members across our lodges are already stepping up through events, volunteering, and giving. With the final month here, now is the time to get involved and take advantage of this matching opportunity.
Don’t miss your chance to double your impact. Give today and make a meaningful impact on the families we serve.
Life insurance isn’t something most people think about every day—but it often comes down to one simple question: “Would my family be okay if something happened to me?”
It’s an emotional question—but answering it comes down to a few practical decisions.
Here are three common mistakes—and a better way to think about them:
1) Waiting until “later” Life gets busy, but putting a plan in place sooner can mean more affordable options and fewer unknowns down the road.
2) Relying only on employer coverage Workplace benefits are a great start—but they don’t always follow you. Having something in place that stays with you can provide more consistency over time.
3) Not being sure how much is enough A good starting point is thinking through real-life needs—income, housing, everyday expenses, and future goals. Even a simple estimate can bring clarity.
The goal isn’t to have everything perfectly figured out—it’s to make sure the people who rely on you have a plan they can count on.
A quick review now can make a big difference later.
What Moms Are Really Thinking About Financially—And What Helps
With Mother’s Day as a reminder of how much moms take on, it’s worth recognizing that financial planning is often part of that role, too—quietly happening in the background.
From day-to-day decisions to long-term planning, many moms are thinking about how to keep everything on track—both now and in the future.
A Smart Way for KSKJ Life Members to Save on Prescriptions
Healthcare costs continue to rise, and prescription medications are often one of the biggest out-of-pocket expenses for individuals and families. That’s why KSKJ Life offers ScriptSave Well Rx as a valuable member benefit designed to help reduce those costs in a simple and accessible way.
ScriptSave is a prescription savings program that provides discounts on thousands of medications at participating pharmacies nationwide. Members can use the program whether they have insurance or not, and in many cases, it can even offer savings that are lower than typical insurance copays.
Using ScriptSave is straightforward. There are no claim forms, no waiting periods, and no enrollment fees, making it an easy tool to use whenever a prescription is needed.
For anyone looking to stretch their healthcare dollars further, ScriptSave Well Rx is a practical and valuable resource included with your KSKJ Life membership.
If you’re local, take some time to explore one of Joliet’s hidden gems through the Joliet Area Historical Museum. Just off historic Route 66, the Martin & Emma Planinsek Grocery and Meat Market Museum offers a unique step back in time, recreating a neighborhood corner store that served the community from the 1920s through the 1960s.
Throughout the season, visitors can enjoy guided tours, special programs, and themed events that bring local history to life. From exploring the original family home—including newly opened spaces—to learning about Joliet’s rich immigrant heritage, there’s something for all ages to experience.
To see what’s coming up and plan your visit, check out the museum’s upcoming programs here: Learn more
It’s a meaningful (and fun!) way to connect with the past while supporting local history right in our own backyard.
