This year, by partnering with Feeding America, KSKJ Life joins the fight against hunger. We ask our members to join us in the fight to help to ensure that all families in the United States have access to food through their food pantries, food banks, and meal programs.

Lodge #2 Join Hands Day - Joliet, IL
Lodge members will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet, IL to assist in vegetation removal and planting of new flowers and plants. This has been a tradition for Lodge #2 for many years. If you are interested in volunteering, please email dchurnovic13@hotmail.com

Joliet Lodges #2, #29, and #143 and collecting food to benefits St. John's Food Pantry(food bank). Members and non-members in the Joliet, IL area are encouraged to participate by dropping of food donations to St. Joseph's Park off of Theodore Street between 12pm-3pm. By observing this day each year, we can raise awareness on the essential role bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy, and on the many challenges they face today. Feast of Marija Pomagaj / Mass in Joliet, IL
Also known as Our Lady of Brezje and Mary Help of Christians, Marija Pomagaj is the patroness of the Slovenian people and protector of the Slovenian heritage.
A mass in honor of Marija Pomagaj will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Joliet, IL at 6:00 p.m. Members and officers from KSKJ Life Lodges #2, #29 and #143 will be in attendance. All are welcome to attend. A social gathering with food and refreshments will be held after the mass.
