KSKJ Life honors Consul General of the Republic of Slovenia
The Slovenian community in Lemont, IL recently bid farewell to Alenka Jerak, the Consul General of the Republic of Slovenia in Cleveland, as she prepares for her new diplomatic post.
During her time in Cleveland, Consul Jerak was instrumental in promoting Slovenian culture, fostering economic ties, and strengthening the relationship
between Slovenia and the United States, particularly in Ohio and its neighboring states and within the KSKJ Life community.
Her dedication and efforts were celebrated on June 16th at the Slovenian Catholic Center’s annual Father’s Day Picnic, which was attended by KSKJ Life’s CEO, Tony Mravle, and Chair of Board, Tony Menart, where she was honored for her exceptional service and contributions. Consul Jerak's work has significantly enhanced the visibility and understanding of Slovenia in the region, leaving a lasting legacy that will benefit future collaborations.
