The roots of KSKJ Life have always supported and offered community outreach and charitable giving. As a new holiday season approaches, we are once again joining with a charitable organization that supports active military and/or veterans as part of our annual Supporting Soldiers program. We are proud to announce, The Bob Woodruff Foundation, as this yearâs charity of choice.
The Bob Woodruff Mission
âTo stand up for heroes so that we can find, fund, shape and accelerate equitable solutions that help our impacted veterans, service members, their families and their caregivers thrive.â
How it started...
Bob Woodruff was a reporter for ABC News World News Tonight covering the War in Iraq when he suffered a traumatic brain injury. As he recovered at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Bobâs family spent time with other service members also experiencing the effects of traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. This impactful experience inspired the Woodruff Family to start the foundation to assure all veterans and service members receive the support and resources they deserve.
Today, 15 years and millions of dollars later, hundreds of programs have been created through the BWF to support veterans and their families as they build their post-service lives.
How can your donations help?
Please join us, beginning on November 11, 2022, as we kick-off our national initiative in partnership with The Bob Woodruff Foundation. KSKJ Life will be accepting donations throughout the 2022 holiday season. We encourage all members to help our service men and women, both past and present.

Small Business Saturday & Giving Tuesday - Be a Part of the Bigger Picture
After youâve completed your Black Friday shopping, take a moment to support and give back! Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday follow Thanksgiving. It is your chance to support your local small businesses and give back to the communities you live and work in. What is Giving Tuesday? How can I participate?
Giving Tuesday falls on the Tuesday right after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. It began in 2012 and is an international day of service and goodwill.
For one day of the year, businesses big and small, as well as the communities around them, turn their attention away from profit margins and sales to focus on giving back to their communities.

Potlucks and Pets!
Some of our home office staff combined Halloween fun, silliness, and food to help pets in need. Food was shared and boxes full of supplies were donated to the local Help Save Pets organization, where there is always a dire need to help the animals in their care. What a fun way to embrace the KSKJ Life mission of giving and reinvesting back in the community!
